MENTORSHIP
The goal of our mentorship programme is to assist mentees in the improvement of their lives in becoming responsible and productive members of society. We desire that mentees who have passed through the programme will be future mentors to give back to their communities. Our mentors are called and expected to communicate with mentees on adolescent and adult issues such as peer pressure, teenage pregnancy, parenting, the world of work. Mentors walk along with mentees to provide advice and guidance, much like a sister, brother, mother, or father.
We run an optional mentoring request programme for persons in the communities who require a mentor but have not participated in a programme with us. This option is also open to mothers whose children have benefitted from the "The Abel Project" programme who needs assistance with coping with their special needs child(ren).
Registration for the mentorship programme is not optional for participants who have completed the "Proverbs 31 Initiative." This is a structured approach. In tandem with service offered, there is accountability and transparency on the part of both the mentor and mentee to ensure the success of persons who have passed through the programme. We are always looking for mentors age 18 and up who are ready to answer the call.
Below is a list of the type of mentorships:

The Coach & Cheerleader Programme: Mentors to pregnant mothers, at-risk youths and the abused
-
The Educator & Connector Programme: Mentors to persons placed in employment/self-employment under Proverbs 31 Initiative
