The PROVERBS 31 Initiative is a six (6) month evening workshop programme with three primary objectives:
-
Assisting participants to find gainful employment
-
Assistance for those with self-employment and entrepreneurial skills
-
Helping women to become well-rounded individuals balancing home and work

Participants attend two (2 hours) workshops every week, where they progress through theoretically based teachings to practical adaptation ranging from intrapersonal to interpersonal relationship skills, understanding their environment, employment, entrepreneurship, and financial management. Blended within the life skills programme are computer literacy and the use of the internet as a viable source of income for centers that have computer access.

Open discussions centered around suitable career choices for mothers and wives built around the family's lifestyle. This programme partners with community businesses and relevant agencies for job placements and participants are provided with a mentor from the Educator & Connector Programme.

Our programme is broken into two terms across six modules. The first term begins in September and ends December. The programme then recommences in January and ends in March. There are an additional two weeks added for introduction to mentors, measurement & reporting.
